We went by the baseball stadium and hopped out for more photos. And so people could stare at us.  lolol   See in Missouri you don't see limo's everywhere. If were still in Ca. no one would have cared. And once they saw it was just us, they didn't care in Missouri either.  But we still felt special. We all had our camera's out so you know the people thought we were just tourist.  Otherwise wouldn't there have been only ONE camera with flashes going off??   lol

 

Time to hop back in, time for dinner.  

 

 

Let me fix my tiara. It's dinner time.  Did I tell you I have two tiara's?  Well I do.

 

There it is.  Mama Campisi's.  The best Italian food.  Toasted Ravioli's to die for.  All made from scratch.  Man I could go for one of those right now. 

 

When I walked in there, I must have blacked out. lolol I don't even remember them yelling Happy Birthday!!!  I swear I don't. I was in shock.  How many surprises can one take in one day??   The airport and Nancy would have been great. But this???  WOW!!!

Lots of my friends and family were all inside waiting for us.  I could not have been happier.  It was just the best day ever.

There were lots of gifts!!!!  My sister bought me a lottery ticket and each number she picked had a special meaning.  No I didn't win.  Well I did win that night but not money.  

 

My sister came to the place early that day and decorated, picked up and bought the cake, got everything ready BEFORE we picked her up at 5pm.  I owe her big time. 

 

The cake was awesome.  From a local bakery.  Half white and half chocolate.  She told them no depressing black colors.  Whew!!!  She knows I'd get her back. 

 

You know she's little I can take her!!!!  

 

I guess it was time to call it a day!!!   Ummm where did my bil get that box??   And what is Wilster doing in the background???

 

Someone needed assistance getting back in.  Not mentioning names.

Saturday Nancy got to join us at a pig roast. You know she thinks we all eat road kill here in Missouri so we thought she might enjoy this And can I tell you SHE ENJOYED!!!!   But you'll have to come back for those photos.  Or if you don't come back I'll know you've had enough. Day 2

For those of you that asked for it, here's more of my fun weekend.  Actually day 2 was Thursday and I took that as my day of rest. And boy am I glad I did.  Little did I know hunka and my sister Linda were/are the ones that needed the rest.   You'll see why.  

My day Friday started off good.  I had my first meeting with my new Missouri sales rep for Moda!!!   Now you know it's just going to keep getting better from that point.  I ordered and ordered fabric.  Can't wait for it all to start arriving.  And that will be very soon.  Oh and by the way my website is up and running and I finally got some of the fabric over there from my Etsy site.  Whew!!  Today I hope to get more of it listed. I have brand new I haven't even gotten on there yet.  Some "happy" fabrics.   

Hunka had asked me what I wanted to do and I told you and him I wanted the limo ride to one of our favorite places to eat on The Hill. Which is an Italian area here in St. Louis. They have the best restaurants I think and so do a lot of others.  Soooo  Boo came into town early on Friday morning,  came by picked up my leather chair.  Yes we got rid of our furniture and have none now.  A gal bought the rest from Craigs list on Thursday.  Ohhh that's what I did Thursday.  We loaded the chair in Boo's truck and he was off to his dad's house to drop it off until he would go back to Tenn on Sat.  or Sun.  

We then proceeded to get ready for our limo which was to arrive by 4pm.  I was soooo excited to see my sister and the boys.  First stop for the limo was me of course.  He got to our street and had to go around the circle at the end, but a gals car was parked there and he could not get through.  Luckily for all of us she was home and he went up and asked her to move.  Can you see him down there between the trees??  

 

This was one amazing limo.  Looks like we're ready to go.  

 

 

Before I go any further I have to show you what Boo gave me for my birthday.....oh no this isn't the gift this is the BOX he wrapped it in. He painted the box!!!  I loved the box.  He said........no the gift is inside.  

 

Here is what was inside the box.  Boo made this!! He welded it and painted it. Amazing! It's all metal.  He looked at my new web site's name and made this.  Don't you like the whimsical way all the letters are different?? 

 

See how he painted it to look like wood grain?   I love it. 

 

My Wilster gave me a great gift certificate to my favorite shopping place.  Nordstroms!!!  WOOHOOO!!! Love that gift card.  I love my boys and am so glad they were both able to celebrate with me.  

Ok time to hit the road!!!  I'm ready!!

 

First stop was to pick up sissy pooh!!!  Look she made me the pot of flowers and I had my own sign in her yard!!!!  She got me some great gifts not to mention she went wayyyy overboard in all she did for me.  I'm so happy to be close to her again.  I love my sister Linda!! Even if she is skinny.  lol I won't hold that against her. 

 

My nephew had to come out and see.  Too bad he's not 21 he could have went too.  

 

Looks like they are ready!!! Love my brother in law!!! Nick is the best guy.

 

Next stop to pick up the boys!! 

 

Everyone has to take a potty break now and then right???  Don't ya love the key they give you at the gas station??? lolol

Seriously do they mean this??????   Is that like keep hands and feet inside the ride at all times???  

 

I hope she didn't have her happy feet on the bar!!! I don't remember.  lolol

 

So we were riding along enjoying ourself on the way to dinner when I noticed we just passed a sign that says........Terminal 1.  Ummmmmmmmm why are we going to the airport I ask????  Hunka says, I don't know. Maybe we need to make a stop.  Limo driver stops and hunka gets out.   I look over and who do I see????   OH MYYYYY GOODNESS!!!!!   I started screaming and jumping up and down. But my feet never touched the bar!!!!!  NEVER.  I hopped out of the limo and RAN!!!!!!!! I can not believe my eyes!!!  Do you know who it is yet???  

 

It's Nancy NO BLOG!!!!  Ok so she does blog now but still. Oh and we renamed her this weekend California Nancy!!!  I didn't want to let go of her!!!  What a surprise!! And it gets better.  Just a little better because this was pretty darn good!!!   My sister and hunka did a bang up job let me tell you.  Nancy just got home from vacation and look here she is!!!!  

 

Now the fun is about to begin!!!!  And I thought we were having some fun. We're back on track. I had wanted to drive down to the arch for some pictures.  Nancy had never been to Missouri so this was perfect.  She got to see our Arch!!!  

 

Didn't we have a cute limo driver??  But he needs a hat.  You know a driver hat.  Boo was taking the pic that's why he isn't in it.  :-(   And why am I hanging on limo man???  

 

 

Next stop the baseball stadium.    See ya tomorrow.  Hope your not bored yet.  But you know I'm posting anyway.  lolol  

By the way I haven't told Nancy that we have no furniture yet!!!  OMGGG who knew????   Dennis wanted to kill me when I said to him, "guess what? I sold the furniture".   Of course he said nothing. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

 

What a week!!

I'm not even sure where to start.  So much has happened in the last week.  So I'll start from the beginning.  If your on my Facebook you have already seen a lot of the pictures.  But I still have more.   

Before we left I opened up a few of my gifts.  I've been staring at the boxes for day!! Do I have willpower or what?? Nancy sent me all these great gifts. She had a theme going.  Even gave me some Sweet Tea lotion. Does she pay attention or what? There was cupcake candle, cupcake apron and towels,  a cupcake wine stopper,  bookmarks, candy, bath gel, cupcake note tablets, my very own cup with an S embroidered on it, and.....

 

Check out that flower purse filled with candy!! SEES candy that is. Where does she find this stuff?

She made me this bag with major bling on it.  I LOVE IT.  Isn't this cute??

Next Debbie's gift arrived.....you now I had to open them in order. Hunka is waiting for me to whip up those lemon car's.  Love love love the dolls Debbie made me, the perfume smells heavenly,  love the towel!!  I loved it all.

 

Had to decide on a new home for my dolls.  

Then came Tammy............it arrived on the big day!!!  Talk about perfect timing.  Another fun filled box.  Chocolate, a pin cushion using our favorite Flower Sugar fabric.  kleenex, a note tablet,  that cool salt shaker filled with buttons. Clever!!

 

And Tammy made this adorable little quilt.  Don't ya love when your friends make you gifts?? I sure do. I think it looks perfect right there on my little wagon.  

 

I also got a box filled with goodies from a very Dear friend!! You know who you are and I thank you!!!  I thank all of you and the cards I got.  It's great to have such good friends.  

After that we left for my favorite little town.  St. Charles!! We had  a nice time shopping and then some friends met up with us later for drinks and dinner.  Let's just start off with our dessert we had after lunch. Bing Cherry Crepes.  And might I say they were to die for???  Oh my word!!!!!  So far so good. 

 

Looks like it was good. 

 

Done with shopping and onto the winery to wait for our friends.  This is the beginning of a fun filled four days  full of beverages.  

 

then........more sweets to eat. The waitress brought me this.  You talk about rich!!  Ok now I'm on sugar overload too.  

 

The gangs all here!! 

 

 

When we got home that night these were sitting on my front porch.  Miss Polka Dot herself sent them to me.  This is the neatest flower arrangement I think I've ever gotten.  Talk about unique.

 

 

And hubby gave me these!! He's loving that flower delivery service.   And so am I. 

 

When we got home hunka gave me this beauty!!!  Come to momma!!! My very own retro looking espresso machine.  Am I ever gonna get some use out of this.

I could have ended the birthday right there. But the celebration continues...........
