How's everyone's holiday so far? We've been getting alot done around here. Gardening, cleaning, rearanging furniture, (well I've been doing that) I've sewed, we've cooked. And that was just Saturday. :) Just kidding.
Wanna see my gifties from my friends??? I'm so luck because I do have some good friends. Despite what you've heard. lol
I actually got both packages on the same day from Beth and Nancy. I was so happy but then sad because I wasn't there with them to open gifts and then sew together. First up is my pkg from Nancy Pants. That's my new name for her. Not sure why but it has a ring to it doesn't it? Don't be jealous of my new shades. I put them right on. The photo is on my FB page. Nancy said I look like Elton John. I did not think that was VERY NICE. lolol And Hunka said she sends me that stupid #@$# because she knows I'll put it on. haaaaaaaaaa And he's right.
This was inside the box. OMGGGGG I love it. Nancy and Beth took a class together at Fat Quarter Shop in Vista and Nancy made her's for me. That along with the adorable polka dotted glue gun, a little quilt kit, some candy, a plant stake, and I forget what else.
Bethy pooh (yes my name for her) made Nancy and I both this. She cross stitched it. Talk about a lot of work. I used to cross stitch and loved it. Until quilting took over my life. Beth gave me the patriotic flip flops because I am the queen of the flip flops you know. That cute little blue gingham basket and the other little bowl stuffer that has a friendship saying on it. I love love love everything. Made me happy.
Isn't that adorable??? I just love it.
Do you think Nancy and Beth talked before giving my gifts?? I'm seeing a theme here.
This is what I made them. I actually made three. I have to have one right???? They were fun to stitch. I also gave them a patriotic little framed picture. Forgot to take a pic of that. You'll have to go to their blogs to see.
Hubby and I went to dinner on Friday and there was this guy making balloon things. He made this and I had to have it. They asked me if I had a little one at home. I said, "nooooooo, it's for ME". haaaaaa Isn't it the cutest thing?? I can't believe it's still blown up sitting on that table.
Last week I got this package in the mail. It was from my BFF.
I love it!!!! I like it there on the mantle but I want to move it to my sewing room too. What to do??? It's the QUILTS sign.
I wanna show you a couple patriotic little quilts I have. This one I've shown before but I just love it. My good, good friend Tommye made this for me. And she hand quilted it. I will treasure it forever. Isn't it the cutest thing ever????
This one I made while taking a class with Nancy at Temecula Quilt Co before I moved from CA.
Don't you love the back? Funny when we were taking the class I sewed my quilt upside down and Nancy made me take it out and do it right. Me, I would have left it and moved on. Just sayin.
This is the new little mini I made for my Monthly Mini on the website. It sold out already. YAY!!!!!!!!!! So I've been busy today making the next two. Love making mini's. So fast and easy, and your done. That's what I like these days. Quick!!!
I'll give a sneaky peaky of the next two. Just because your special on my blog with your passwords and all. :)
This will be the one for August . I still need to quilt it, bind it and it will be ready. I used my bundle from Gatherings fabric line for Moda. So you'll get quite a variety of different prints. That's why some of the kits are limited because I'm using some of my fabric. I've got some great collections for years back. This quilt is only 22 inches square. Small pieces.
This one will be for Sept. I'm still working on it. These are little quilts. The squares are 2 inches before sewing them together. These are all civil war fabrics. Some are from back in 2002. Maybe earlier.
Gotta go for now. Thanks for dropping in and for keeping that password mum!!! Please don't share it. I love having all of you here and feel so much better with it this way. While I feel bad for my followers that read my blog before but never said anything, this is best for me for now. I'll unblock it sometime I'm sure. Just not now.

I think Dennis is just jealous and wants his own sunglasses so he too can be a rock star. Gotta love those mini quilts. I have always loved that quilt that Tommye made for you and the quilt you made for us!
