This is my favorite month!! Why you ask? Well because I was born in June. And that's a good reason don't ya think? Once your past 50 I geuss you really should't be looking forward to more birthday's but I've never really hated getting older. This past year didn't go by very fast either. A lot has happened in a year. Most of it was good. So that's a good thing.
My friend Nicole makes the cutest Raggedy Ann dolls. I know several of you have asked me for her website so you could order one. Those of you that haven't you really should check it out. I've never seen cuter Annie dolls. Seriously. and her prices are good too. No this isn't a paid commercial. I just love my Annie dolls. And I can't stop buying them. I gathered several of them and took a photo for you to see my addiction. There are this many more that I didn't take a photo of.
Look at all those redheads. I have them for every season. I have large ones, small ones and itsy bitsy ones. They are all over my house. I hardly ever put any of them away. Even the seasonal ones I hate to box up.
You can tell I order a lot of them that are wearing RED. Some of these were given to me as gifts. I got my first Annie doll when I sold my shop. And I was in love from that first one. This is her. Nicole made her holding two bolts of fabric, her necklace has my name on her and the cute little fabric tag. I love her.
The little green dorothy one with the red slippers in the front was a gift. Love her ruby red slippers.
Nancy gave me the one on the left when I visited her a couple months ago. She ordered four specially made ones for all of us.
Love RED, love Annie.
Cheeseball Annie. Not really but I'm going to name her that.
A gfit from my BFF back in Nov. Nancy made the quilt Annie is sitting on too.
Kitchen itsy bitsy Annie.
This is the biggest one I have. She is a big girl!!!! Her name is Sharon. lolol Need I say more?
I put them everywhere.
I'm telling you I have them for every season.
This is a fairly new one.
There's the one with the red ruby slippers on the right. She's an itsy bitsy one.
See how tiny the little ones are? I think they are my favorite.
This is a tiny one too.
The one on the right is my very first Annie. The fabric "Sharon" Annie.
I have at least four of them in my office. They make me smile.
She's a brand new one too. Like last week new.
Last but not least, this is the one I'm giving away to one lucky winner.
I could go on and on with the Annie show. But I'll stop for now. Maybe I'll gather all of them up in my bed and take a picture!! I still have so many more to show you. Do you think I have a problem???? lolol I say it's a good problem to have.
Now since June is my favorite month and just happens to be my birthday too I'm going to give you a chance to win your very own Annie doll. Just leave me a message and........you have to leave one on my BFF's blog too. Because she is also going to show all of her Annie's. Well I think it's all of them. Not sure you'll have to go check it out. So you must leave one in both places to be in the drawing. We will pick a winner on the 10th. The day after my birthday. Check out her new mixer too while your over there. It is beautiful. It is in the post prior to her Annie one. You've got to see it. Oh and did I tell you???? My BFF is coming to see me AGAIN!! Yippeeee. This time she's staying for more than three days. I can not wait!
And if you don't win an Annie you can always go get yourself one over at Nicole's website. And if you see one here you like just send her a message she'll make it for you if she can. WE do that all the time.
Ps: Joy of Joypatch won the giveaway. You'll be getting your goodies soon. All the way across the big pond!!! Thanks for all the comments on the previous post.

Holy cow BFF you have way more Annies then I do. Can I win??

It only seems right that your BFF win this give away... that is if "I" don't! LoL... I'm thinking she may have a better chance than I do! And diddo on the "Holy Cow" point... it's a cinch that you didn't have girls at your house! We have 3 and we had plenty of dolls... but certainly not that many!!! I mean, they did need to get into bed too! I had a Raggy Anne Doll growing up and a Andy too... those were the days!
Hope that your birthday is wonderful!

Holy cow you have a lot of Annies! How many do you have anyway? I only have about 10, but neener neener neener I have a boy one! You need to get a boy one. It's a wonder poor Nicole doesn't have bloody stumps from making all those dolls! When I met her a few weeks ago thankfully her hands looked ok! LOL

I sure would like to have an Annie
doll to sit with me while I sew. As I live alone, this would be great
company. You sure have a lot of dolls.

Hey Sharon! Happy Birthday month! :0)Your Annies are too cute and you can never go wrong with RED! :0) Sorry to hear a 'friend' didn't understand you as well as you thought. I don't 'get' negative people - surely it takes more energy to be negative than happy and positive. And frankly, if they don't like what you do ... why visit your blog?!?! Weird! I may not comment often, but you're on my RSS feeds and I enjoy the updates from the Red Geranium Cottage, so shall miss them ... will have to add your Daisy blog to my RSS feeds. In the meantime ... Happy June! Big Squishy Birthday Bear Hugs! KRIS

Well, Miss Sharon,
I once made a pair of raggedy Anne and Andy dolls that live in my sewing room but I have admired Nicole's dolls from afar. I have a new great niece named Annabelle(Anni for short) and thought about buying one for Anni- Nicole makes beautiful dolls) I can see why you love them. Someone is going to love having this Annie doll.
I am off to visit Nancy to see her wonderful collection. How nice you will get a visit from her- I know how much fun you are going to have together.
Happy Birthday- I hope you have a wonderful day and a terrific year. May all that you are wishing for be yours.
Warmest regards,
Anna

I luv everyone of Nicole's Annies. I've been following her blog since I started blogging.... almost a year now. I've drooled many times and procrastinate about buying one or two or even her patterns....just don't do a lot of purchases online. I would love to win the aqua and red Annie.....she is adorable just like all your Annie's and Nancy's too. I did crafting before I started to quilt and have made many Annie and Andys.....I luv the primitive look. I'd luv to win the Annie but that could be a bad thing for me as I'm afraid I will end up buying many more when I see Annie for real. Thanks for the chance, I'm keeping my toes and fingers crossed. I'm so glad you are not giving up your blog ... I met you at Market in Utah and you always had the biggest smile, even when we were waiting patiently in line for Sample spree you were smiling..for sooo many hours.....I was with Mama Spark.....and she does buy online ..... always lets me know when she orders and there are times I do add to her order. Have a wonderful weekend and birthday next week....keep smiling...(o:

I have Thing 2 that NEEDS that Annie, okay doesn't need but would really really love her. She is already starting her own little Annie collection.
Thanks for having such a generous giveaway. (I am totally not showing Thing 2 all of your Annies, I would spend every weekend at every yard sale and craft fair in 90 mile radius this summer. I am SO not ready for that. lol)
Posted by: hunnybunny | June 04, 2011 at 11:42 AM
I thought I had already posted a comment but now I can't find it.
So, I hope I'm not too late to have a chance at providing Annie a good home. I am sooo jealous of your collection and need to start one of my own.
