Happy Easter everyone. I hope you all had as much fun as we did today. My sister and her family came over along with Boo who was in town from Tennessee and Wilster was here too. I couldn't ask for anything more. We ate, we watched a movie and we devoured a whole lot of chocolate.
As usual we started the day off with rain. We actually ended the day yesterday with rain too. Tornado's,wind, rain, what next? Our poor St. Louis airport was hit hard the night before. So were lots of houses. It's so very sad that those poor people who lost their houses also lost everything that was inside. We were feeling pretty lucky to say the least. Wilster needed something out of his car so he put on Boo's raincoat. We told him that he looked like the Gorton Fisherman.
Boo's eyes are not that dark. I took care of the red eye but in the process I gave him beady little dark eyes. lolol
I had fun getting my table all set and ready the day before.
I got a huge bag of these solid chocolate eggs at Costco right when they put out the Easter stuff. Went back again and they were gone. Gotta grab em quick.
I was thinking and thinking about what to do for name tags. Sooo I had a box of Peeps and some cupcake stick thingy's. There ya go!! Name tags. I think my nephew is the only one who actually ate the thing. Other than my BFF I'm not sure who likes those things.
We usually have so much food left so I decided just to get up this morning and make chocolate cupcakes, store bought sugar cookies and my caramel croissant bread pudding. Let me tell you the bread pudding is killer. I found the recipe in a magazine. It was pretty involved for me but I did it and it actually taste great. Go figure!!
Here's our little bunny!! Not liking those ears.
She looks like a tired little bunny doesn't she?
Happy Easter!!!

Looks like you had a wonderful Easter Sharon. The table looks pretty and you had your boys home -- Yipee! I love that Miss Maddy is watching out over all the eggs -- even if she is sleeping!

We had a great Easter also... full of family, good food and well, time remembering what we were celebrating.
Hope your week is filled with fun,
and that now your little 4 legged friend is well rested. Ours tends to enjoy hiding in the basement when all the grandkids come... they tire her out too!

Glad you had a nice easter. Ours was good too - although I did wish I still were in Australia! What a downer to come back!

Sounds like a great day! I heard about St. Louis, I'm so glad you're place is okay. The desserts look yummy and I love how you decorated your Easter table! Look at Miss Madeline, she is adorable (and a good sport!).

The Easter celebration looks great. We had gold bunny's and chocolate carrots on our table as well. The pink eared bunny is adorable.
