I'm back with more pics for you. Are you ready?? This is my dining room. And yes that is a Christmas tree in the corner. I bought this tree on clearance after the holiday but never packed it away. The movers just threw it on the truck and sorta damaged it. So when it came off the truck I put it in the corner and decided to decorate it. I love it!!
The little seed cabinet came from an antique shop near Boo in Indiana. I've got another neat cabinet at his house I'm picking up real soon.
My friend Debbie from Little Stitches made the framed picture above the pie safe.
The little bucket I got when hunka and I went shopping the other day.
I also bought the chalk board at that antique shop near Boo's.
Here's that little cabinet we got while shopping the other day. I HAD to get it. I love the screen door.
Hunka loved this lazy susan we got in Napa. We use it all the time. It's the lid off of a barrel that they used for wine making. It even says White Zinfadel on it.
Here's the dining room window before..........
And after........ we wanted a longer flag but this is the one I had. After we hung it we both agreed, we like it. I didn't really wanna cover up the window shutters. So this was perfect. The star holders also I got...........well you know.
The wall is a light mocha color but it photographs sometimes pinkish. It's not pink trust me.
This was after hunka hung my "welcome" picture there by the door and the flag over the window.
You said you wanted to see what was inside my shopping bags from our day out.
And this...... Rosie this photo is for you. It lights up inside like the other two I have in my house. I love these. Every time I go to this shop I wanna buy another one. This is my third one. And this is the smallest one so far.
And.......... bought the lamp you see there. Hunka loved this lamp so I say let's get it. lol Don't ask me twice. LOOK it's Annie. The poor thing. She's been thru so much.
Do ya like my plate?? The fall stuff is coming out at the store and I love fall. I'm pretty sure I have that same broom in my closet. Just sayin. No comments please!!
Oh and here's the "Christmas" tree. I bought the cute little star shaped light covers for the twinkle lights. If you click on the pic you can see them. I actually bought them in..............well you know..... a year ago and never took them out of the bag. I just found them when I was unpacking. They were tucked inside this tiny paper bag. Perfect huh?? I'll be looking for some more real soon.
When you leave here please go visit Dawn's etsy shop. She added more bling, bling, to it. You gotta go!!
Oh I love your house. Everything is just so "you"! Looking forward to seeing more. You ARE unpacked now, aren't you?

Oh Sharon, I love seeing your house come along!!! I love the tree! I have a trio of them, all different heights, and I leave them out all winter! Your cabinets are darling, and I also have a wine barrel lid lazy susan. Mine is marked with the wine stamp, and has he staining of red wine on the underneath side. I use it in my kitchen next to my stove for balsamic vinegars, and salt and pepper shakers, and my cookbook holder. I love it.
Keep those pics coming. Love ya.

I like the tree with the flags. i know that some people have a tree out all year long with different decorations for each holiday. I think it is a good idea but I don't even have a tree.

Sharon, I love all your decorating talent. I just wouldn't want to dust. LOL. It is really beautiful and probably as shows us a little bit on how your shop looked when you had it. I had a tree just like that one all year in the shop. Still had to hang onto about 4 of them. You have done so much, can't wait to see your sewing room.

I used to have a tree (a smaller one than that) that I decorated for each holiday. It's amazing what you can come up with for decorations to change it up. It was a lot of fun.

I am coming to your house with a big ol' bag like Santa carries, and I'm stuffing ALL of your goodies in it! I am in LOVE with everything you have in that room! Your knack for decorating just knocks me out, girlfriend!! Maybe I'll just have you come to visit me, we'll go shopping, and then you can decorate my house! How 'bout that? (I still want all of your stuff, though.....) hee......

Love the tour! Your tree is great! Gayle has a silver one that we have red white and blue lights on! It sparkles so that we decided not to put anything else on it! However, the flags are a great idea!
I love the dining room window with its' shutters and that flag just makes it! Thanks for sharing!

Your house is looking like a home a little more each day. I know you must be having a ball making it just like you want it. I love those wooden floors; they look like they are a hundred years old and varnished with love. The whole "scene" is terrific!!

Boy I've got some catching up to do on your blog. It will be fun to see what you have done to move in. I find the Christmas tree impressive with the little flags. Only Sharon would think of that! And you can pull off a year round tree. Love the things you are doing to the house.

Thank you for the pictures!!!! I am going to go back and enlarge each one and enjoy :) It all looks so pretty and YOU!! I can't wait to see the whole house. Well my computer has had firewall issues for the last week or two and I haven't been able to get online or if I could I would lose it after 30 seconds. I finally re-did all of my security stuff last night and now my e-mail is wacked out :( Hopefully I can get it straightened out tonight when my computer son gets home. O.k. I'm off to savor your pictures :)
