Doesn't she look sad?? Well you've gotta admit we're not all that HAPPY about this. But together we can do it. And God willing and they stop making potato chips I will be looking like Jennifer Anniston real soon. Better yet Tyra Banks is the one for him. Now that might be a real stretch for me. I'm just sayin. But man oh man that girl has got it going on. Hunka is sure praying for that one I can tell you that.
So are you ready for it? Tomorrow is the day for me. Several of you have said your on board with me. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll add you to the list tomorrow. Now don't be shy come on over to the SKINNY side. LOLOL!!!!! I'll do a "list" on my sidebar with everyone who is going to participate. I was thinking we could do updates every Monday on our blogs. Let's share recipes, tips, and yes the dreaded photos. I'm very competitive you know so look out. Come on now if your serious you can show a picture. You know me I'll show mine if you show yours. Maybe even post that "BEFORE" weight. That dreaded number. Which of course we are going to lower.... right? I agree that even if you don't lose weight, inches are good too. Heck I'd give up anything that I lose at this point. That big old fat thing that's been following me around can go at anytime. And I'm not talking about Hunka. How dare you even think that. LOL!! But speaking of Hunka I have warned him the fattening food is coming to a halt. He can eat it if he wants but I'm not. Tomorrow the trash can will be filled with all my junk food. You know where I live in case your hankering for some good stuff. It'll be in the green can with the black lid in the back. The guard dog will be there to let you in I'm sure. As for Valentine's day I am not really that big of a chocolate person so I'll do fine with that. Easter........again not crazy about the chocolate, now the eggs.....that might get me. Love me some deviled eggs. Or hard boiled, scrambled, fried, an omelet, in cookies, in banana nut bread, in fried rice................oh where was I??
Monday I'll have a recipe for you. Not for the fried rice!! And maybe a few diet tips. I know some have said I shouldn't call this a DIET but................I'll have some DIET tips for you on Monday. I'm just sayin!!

I just need to finish my yummy Trader Joe's Joe Joe's...chocolate covered at that. Then I'm ready...no more junk, back to the gym and walking again. I can't use the sprained ankle for an excuse any longer...although it does still hurt sometimes...really it does...LOL!

Hey! SUPER new banner. You made that? Well; here's the thing I've been wondering lately--how come I have to diet like WHAT to lose two pounds in two weeks, but I just eat what I want for Christmas week and gain five? grr. I'm back at an all time high. I will post the before pic WITH the after. Hopefully by October. The first of four daughters is getting hitched then and I have to be the best looking one of her three mothers present :-D

Oh I must do this too, not only do I need to be skinnier, but the sugar is getting too high on that diabetes meter...but, I'm not listing the number..not happening. How hard and fast are the rules?? I'll show my pic from last year since I weight the same and let's face it, it's already been out there. You let me know if I can play?
What's wrong with eggs? They are a good source of protein you know..not the deviled eggs, mind you, but hard boiled they are very good! Now I'm off to eat a nice left-over piece of grilled salmon!

Good Luck Sharon! See if you can find a copy of Paul Prudhomme's book "A Fork in the Road". Really yummy recipes that are pretty quick to cook, low fat/calorie, and oh so good! I love the Shrimp/Corn Bisque and there is a recipe that makes a mean stroganoff. Let me know if you can't find it. Cheers(I am with you on the the chips - chocolate, sweets -no prob Salty/crunchy? Watch out!

Since I have had this cold, I have had no appetite so maybe I could just pretend to have a cold and I would have no appetite. :-)

Hmmmmm I've been thinking about this one all day since I read your post. You can see by my clock it's 10:40 pm. I'm going to encourage you on your journey and quietly do mine. Every stinkin time I commit publicly I fail, every stinkin time. Sooooo sister I'm with ya in spirit quietly on that road myself. I actually am craving good food and exercising - WOOOOOO what's with that, LOL. Could be I have totally over consumed during the holidays - you know sugar and fat overload. OK, I am a couple days late. I have been busy... my daughter got engaged at christmas and has had me buried in wedding stuff... I am very happy... BUT, now to look great in a dress YES YES YES I am in.. need to lose 20 for sure and will take whatever more comes off. I have done WW on and off I have lots of recipes to share... AND, anyone who reads this.. get the Hungry Girl cookbook and/or get the auto emails with lots of on the shelf food tips.. it's great!!

After two weeks (or more) of total overindulgence, I started on Boxing Day. Never mind that the house is still FULL of yummy treats...chocolate, gingerbread, cookies, mmmm... I started an herbal de-tox program which pretty much made all that good stuff taboo. Day 10 and I've lost 5.5 lbs. Well, that's what happens when you can only munch on nuts and vegetables. Sheesh!
