Man oh man did I receive some bloggy love at Quilt Market. I have so many request to get back to my blog that I'm here!!! You never know if anyone really reads it anymore so you think, oh why would I do that. Well, now I know that lots of you are reading it. Even though you may not comment you are out there. So talking to myself is not an issue with me so I'll get crackin and start talking. I mean typing! Blogging used to be my life, that is until Facebook, Pinterest, moving to Missouri, my website, Candy Crush............ok do not laugh. Candy Crush is very important to me. I'm on level..........never mind you really don't care do you?? But if you get a moment can ya give a girl an extra LIFE??? wink wink!!
I have been doing other things over here. No, really I have. I attended a St. Louis Hook in. Yep I became a Hooker. A girl can always use the extra cash right? Nooooo silly, not that kind of hooking. RUG hooking. I tried it several years ago and liked it but liked quilting more. I thought I'd give it another try. I liked it again and started my new rug. And no I haven't picked it up to work on it in weeks. But it's sitting right here by me in case I get that urge.
One of my best friends ever and who I might add makes the most beautiful hooked rugs, sent me an awesome hook to hook my rugs. I've got to take a photo and will share next time. It's so cute. When I grow up I want to make rugs like Ter'e does.
There were some awesome rugs on display at the little rug show.
My BFF Debbie sent me her wool stripper. Yes she is a hooker AND a stripper. That's how my friends roll. If you've never stripped you don't know what you are missing. Not sure when I'll pick this up and work on it again but I know I will for sure.
I've been finished up binding on several quilts and making more. Yep there sure is a kit. Thanks for asking. :)
I started working on my flowers too. Once I knew (thought) the snow had left us. You know we did get another 15 inches when we thought we were done.
Made a picnic quilt for Boo and Hillarie. Love these fabrics. Yes there is a kit.
Hunka made me a new gate for the deck. There was one when we moved in but it had rotted. I've waited four years and it was worth the wait. Ok, not really because I could have been decorating that gate 4 years ago. I'll make up for lost time though, no worries here.
Made this cute little drawstring bag for my BFF. Made one for her BFF too.
While I was busy doing all that sewing look where Mr. Hunka was. On my couch in the sewing room. He thinks I put that there for his sitting pleasure. How do I break it to him that it was just there to decorate???? He looks pretty happy there doesn't he?
We had a few awesome days so I made a little quilty kind of a meal for me and Hunka.
That's what I've been up to. Well lots more and yes I'll be back with more.
