Well hello there. Oh man, it feels good to blog again. It used to be my first thing to do everyday. Then all the other Internet things took over. Facebook first then Instagram. Why oh why did I give up my blogging?
Thank you for taking the time to stop by today. I'm up to blog for my friend Beelori. I'm sure you all feel the same way I do about her. Love, Love, Love everything she does. When I was asked to participate I was so happy. Thank you to The Fat Quarter shop and Lori Holt for doing this. It's been fun to follow along with Lori each Friday on her newest book Farm Girl Vintage.
I signed up to host the month of the Patchwork Pumpkin block. It is so much fun to make and lets face it, we are all ready for some cooler weather and pumpkins aren't we?
When I started making my Pumpkin block I decided to make a table topper. So I made three more. I love it so much. The oranges are so bright and happy looking. But you could also do it in more Primitive colors and it would look awesome too. Can't go wrong with this block.
Doesn't this photo say Fall to you? Lori's blocks are all so very easy to do. Her books and patterns are the best directions honestly. I've made a lot of quilts and used a lot of patterns and I have never ever had a problem putting together one thing Lori designed. I'm being honest when I say that. Beginners can make her things. That's how easy her patterns are for us. If you have been afraid to give it a try, don't. I promise you can do it.
Thank you so much for including me in this again Lori and Kimbery. It's so much fun.
If you haven't been working on your Farmgirl Vintage quilt it's not too late. Get going. You will love it. Sorry for the bad photo but I took it quite awhile ago. I need to get back to my own quilt. I can't wait to put it all together. I'm doing the 12inch blocks for mine. Bigger blocks, bigger quilt. Right? Am I right?
Here is Lori's quilt that was at Quilt Market this past Spring. This one was done with the 6 inch blocks. Love that.
Thank you again for stopping by. Hopefully I will blog again sooner than later.
